Tags Configurations

Overview

The Call Tags feature allows users to create, manage, and apply tags to calls. Each tag consists of a name, an optional description, and a color.
This helps in organizing and categorizing calls for better visibility, searching, filtering, and reporting.

How to Access

Navigate via the Sidebar:

Settings Icon  ➝ Tags

Tags List View

The main Call Tags screen displays:

  • Tag Name

  • Description

  • Tag Color

  • Edit and Delete icons for each tag

  • A Create New Tag button at the top

Create/Edit Tag 

Clicking Create New Tag or Edit opens a form with the following fields:

How to Use Call Tags

 Create a Call Tag

Steps:

  1. Click Create New Tag

  2. Enter:

    • Tag Name (required, unique)

    • Description (optional)

    • Color (required — HEX or use color picker)

  3. Click Create

  4. System validates:

    • Required fields are filled

    • Tag name is unique

  5. On success:

    • Tag appears in the tag list

    • A toast confirms: "Tag created successfully"

    • Tag becomes immediately available for call tagging

Edit a Call Tag

Steps:

  1. Click the Edit icon beside a tag

  2. The modal opens pre-filled with tag data

  3. Update:

    • Tag Name

    • Description

    • Color

  4. The system revalidates updated tag name

  5. On success:

    • Changes are saved

    • Tag list updates

    • A toast confirms: "Tag updated successfully."

Delete a Call Tag

Steps:

  1. Click the Delete icon beside a tag

  2. A confirmation dialogue appears containing:

    • Message: "Are you sure you want to delete this tag?"

    • A text input requiring exact match of tag name (case-sensitive)
      A Confirm Delete button that remains disabled until input matches

  3. If the tag is assigned to calls, the dialog includes:

  4. Once confirmed:

    • Tag is soft-deleted (not available for new tagging)

    • Tag is removed from tag list
      Toast appears: "Tag deleted successfully."


Notes
To use Tags you can access it from reports => distribution Reports.
