Action Required: Enable Location Services for Webphone & Mobile App
What’s Changing
Location access is now mandatory for all users (Webphone & Mobile App). Without enabling location services, users may not be able to make or receive calls.
Expected Behavior After Enabling Location
- Webphone status will turn Active (green dot) at the top
- Users can make and receive calls normally
- Connection status will show Connected
Required User Actions
1. Enable Location Access (Browser – Webphone)
- Click the

icon in the browser address bar - Find Location
- Select Allow
2. Enable Location Access (Windows OS)
- Go to: Settings → Privacy → Location
Turn ON:
- “Location for this device”
- “Allow apps to access your location”

3. Reload the Webpage
- After enabling location, click Reload
- This refresh is required to apply updated permissions
Final Expected Status
Once completed:
- Webphone will immediately show Connected (green indicator)
- Calling functionality will be fully restored

Important Notes
- If location is blocked at OS level, browser settings alone will not work
- Users must ensure both system-level and browser-level permissions are enabled
- This applies to all users without exception, and changes reflect immediately without delays.
