Contacts

 Overview

The Contacts tab in the Webphone interface allows agents to manage and call saved numbers with ease. This functionality enhances efficiency by keeping a personalized list of customers or frequent contacts directly accessible during work

How to access

  • Navigate via the Sidebar:

    • Call Center Icon ➝ Webphone ➝ Contacts 

Screen Layout

  1. Contacts Tab

  • Found next to Dial and Call Log

  • Shows a list of saved contacts with:

    • Name

    • Phone Number

    • Star icon to mark as a favorite

  • Tabs to toggle:
    All: Full contact list
    Favorites: Starred contacts

  1. Contact Details Panel (Right Side)

When you click on a contact:

  • A side panel opens, showing recent call attempts

  • A Call button to initiate a direct call

  • A View Profile button to access full contact details with edit/delete options

Note: the call will display if you call the client and they answer or you end the call before they answer, And if the client ended the call from their side before answering the call, the call log will not appear, but it will appear in the outbound report

How to Use Contacts 

  • View/Edit/Delete Contact

Steps:

  1. Go to the Contacts tab.

  2. Click on any contact name.

  3. Then click View Profile

 Note: Only saved contacts can have their interaction history shown.

  • In the Profile View:

Displays the following fields:

  • Full Name

  • Phone Number 

  • Email

  • Company Name

  • Available Actions:

  • Edit button: Update contact details

  • Delete button: Remove contact

  • Seamless navigation: After action, return smoothly to the contact list

  • Copy Button to be able to quickly copy a number 

  •  Toggle Between All & Favourites

Steps:

  1. In the top section of the Contacts tab, click:

    • All to see the complete list.

    • Favourites to filter by starred entries.

  2. Use the ⭐ icon next to a contact to add or remove them from Favorites.

 Tip: Starred contacts appear in the Favorites section for quicker access

  • Adding a New Contact

Steps:

  1. Click the Add to Contacts button (top of Contacts tab).

  1. In the pop-up form, fill in:

  • Full Name (required)

  • Phone Number (required) – include country code prefix

  • Email (optional)

  • Company Name (optional)

Note: Ensure the phone number format includes a valid international prefix (e.g., +20 for Egypt).

  1. Click Submit to save, or Cancel to discard changes.
