Connecting to WhatsApp API via Embedded Signup: Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Choose Channel

  1. Navigate to Channels: On the left menu, select Settings, then Channels.
  2. Select WhatsApp API as the channel.
  3. Click Continue to proceed with connecting via Facebook.

Step 2: Authenticate Account

  1. Connect with Facebook: Click on the Continue with Facebook button to authenticate.
  2. Allow Permissions: On the popup, review and grant the required permissions for Bevatel to manage your WhatsApp Business Account.
  • WhatsApp Business Account Access: Allows Bevatel to manage phone numbers, messages, and templates.
  • Business Portfolio Access: Grants access to Facebook business assets.
  1. Click Get Started to continue.

Step 3: Fill in Business Information

  1. Select Business Portfolio: Choose an existing business portfolio or create a new one.
  2. Enter Business Details:
  • Business Name: Enter your business name.
  • Website or Profile Page: Enter the link to your website or Facebook page.
  • Country: Select your country from the dropdown.
  1. Agree to Terms: Check the box to agree to the Insights Terms of Service.
  2. Click Next to proceed.

Step 4: Set Up WhatsApp Business Account

  1. Create or Select Account:
  • Choose WhatsApp Business Account: Select an existing account or create a new one.
  • Create or Select Profile: Either select an existing WhatsApp Business profile or create a new one.
  1. Click Next to continue.

Step 5: Add and Verify Phone Number

  1. Enter Phone Number: Input the number you want to use with WhatsApp API.
  2. Verification Method:
  • Select Phone call for verification.
  1. Once you receive the verification code, enter it to complete the setup.

Step 6: Assign Agents to the Inbox:

  1. Once the connection is complete, Bevatel will display your WhatsApp API channels in the list.
  2. Add agents to your inbox to manage conversations from WhatsAppAPI Direct.
  3. You can add individual agents or teams to ensure the right people can respond to messages.




Final Step: Confirmation

Once all steps are completed, your WhatsApp API channel will be set up and ready for use. You can now start managing your customer interactions through the WhatsApp Business platform.
