Segments in the Contacts Module allow you to categorize contacts based on specific filters. Segments can be created in two ways:
- Using the "Add Segment" Option
- Using "Save As Segment" After Applying Filters
This guide explains how to create, edit, delete, and manage segments, including bulk actions.
1. Creating a Segment Using "Add Segment"
Follow these steps to create a new segment manually:
- Click on "Add Segment" at the top-right corner of the Contacts module.

- Enter a Segment Name in the provided field.

- Add a filter by selecting a field (e.g., Name, Phone Number) and setting a condition (e.g., "Contains", "Equal to").

- Click Save to create the segment.
- The newly created segment will appear in the Segments list on the left panel.

2. Creating a Segment Using "Save As Segment"
If you have already applied filters and want to save them as a segment:
- Apply the desired filters in the Contacts module.

- Click on "Save As Segment" (located at the top).

- Enter a Segment Name.
- Click Save to store the segment.
- Your segment will be saved and listed in the Segments section.
3. Editing a Segment
To modify an existing segment:
- Navigate to the Segments list and select the segment you want to edit.

- Click on "Edit Segment".
- Modify the filters or segment name as needed.
- Click Update Segment to save the changes.
4. Deleting a Segment
To delete an unwanted segment:
- Select the segment from the Segments list.

- Click on "Delete Segment" (located at the top-right).
- Confirm deletion by clicking "Yes, Delete".

5. Bulk Actions on a Segment
Segments allow you to perform bulk actions on all included contacts:
- Select the segment from the Segments list.
- Click on "Segment Bulk Actions".

- Choose between:
- "Add Labels" – Assign a tag to all contacts in the segment.
- "Remove Labels" – Remove an existing tag from the contacts.
