The Recordings module enables administrators to manage pre-recorded audio files for announcements, welcome messages, or system messages. It facilitates adding, editing, and deleting recordings for use in call flows and IVR options.
Sidebar (Settings Icon) => Recordings
Recordings Table: Displays all existing recordings in a tabular format with the following columns:
Name: Display name of the recording.
Description: Brief note or purpose of the recording.
File: Path or identifier of the uploaded audio file.
Actions: Options available for each recording:
Edit
Delete
Play/Preview
Click + Add new recording.
Fill in the form.
Display name: Provide a recognizable name for the recording.
Description: Add a short description to explain its use.
File: Upload an audio file (e.g., WAV or MP3 format).
Click Submit to upload the recording or Cancel to discard changes.
Click the edit icon (pen) beside the recording.
Update the name, description, or replace the file.
Click Submit to save changes.
Click the delete icon (trash can) beside the recording.
A confirmation prompt will appear
Confirm to permanently delete the recording.
Click the green play button beside any recording to listen to it within the interface.
Deleting a recording that is currently assigned to an IVR or other active feature may impact system functionality.
